A festive quinceañera celebration at Memorial Park in Sedro-Woolley, Washington, turned into a scene of violence and tragedy on the late evening of July 5, 2025. During the party, which had over 100 attendees, an altercation broke out, leading to a shooting that left 19-year-old Jared Pena-Salgado, a Hispanic male, dead and five other individuals wounded.
