Raymond Keith Butler Jr., a 28-year-old male, was found shot inside the car he was driving just before dawn on June 8, 2025, at the intersection of Gibson Street and Poland Avenue, a few blocks southeast of downtown Youngstown. Officers were dispatched around 3:58 a.m. to reports of a person shot in a vehicle; despite life-saving efforts by EMS, Butler was pronounced dead at the scene.
