On June 24, 2025, Tyresse Sanford, age 20, was shot in Cleveland and taken to the Cleveland Clinic around midnight by someone who dropped him off without remaining at the hospital. He was transferred to University Hospitals, where he was pronounced dead. Police described the case as a homicide and opened an investigation the following morning.

Detectives later determined the shooting likely occurred in the 5700 block of Curtis Court in the city's Hough neighborhood. The Cuyahoga County M ...
