On the evening of May 22, 2025, 19-year-old Adam M. Darrah, a male from Glens Falls, NY, was fatally shot on a rural road in Fort Ann. He was in the company of his friend, 19-year-old Marcus J. Macaulay, who was also killed in the incident. The two young men were discovered with life-threatening gunshot wounds in the roadway on Clay Hill Road by passersby at approximately 9:00 p.m. Emergency services transported both victims to Glens Falls Hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased.
