Dominick Angel Estrada, 19, male, Hispanic, died after gunfire shattered a spring Friday night at Young Park in Las Cruces on March 21, 2025. The shooting erupted shortly after 10 p.m. during an unsanctioned car meet that drew roughly 200 people. Three young victims would not survive: 16-year-old Andrew “AJ” Madrid and 18-year-old Jason Gomez died at the scene, and Estrada was rushed to MountainView Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
