Kennedi Demuth, 25, a white woman from Fullerton, was found shot inside a Columbus, Nebraska home on the evening of September 16, 2025, after officers were dispatched around 8:35 p.m. to a residence near the 22nd block of 7th Street. Responding officers discovered Demuth with a gunshot wound to the head; she was still alive when first responders arrived. Police publicly identified her the next day as the victim in the fatal shooting.
