Lamar Thomas, an 18-year-old Black male from Westland, Michigan, was fatally shot on the afternoon of Friday, September 26, 2025, in Ann Arbor. The incident took place around 1:15 p.m. near the intersection of Packard Street and Platt Road, outside a strip mall. Thomas, a recent high school graduate, was reportedly leaving a business when an exchange of gunfire occurred.
