In the early morning hours of July 6, 2025, a weekend getaway among friends at a lake house near Lake Cumberland in Pulaski County, Kentucky, took a tragic turn, ending the life of 35-year-old Thomas Wayne Dick of Aurora, Indiana. He was a male. What began as a holiday weekend trip ended in a fatal altercation with his lifelong friend, Anthony Scott Emerson, a 35-year-old from Batavia, Ohio.
