Prince Johnson, 43, a Black man from Chicago, was found shot multiple times around 9:40 p.m. on July 11, 2025, on the 13200 block of South Langley Avenue in the Riverdale community on the Far South Side. Officers and paramedics pronounced Prince Johnson, 43, dead at the scene that night, and early reports noted there was no one in custody as Area Two detectives opened a homicide investigation.
