In the small town of Haubstadt, Indiana, a domestic dispute escalated into a tragic event that claimed the lives of three family members and left another critically injured. Alma Tapia Waite, a 61-year-old female, was shot and killed on May 29, 2025, in her home on Scottsdale Drive. The incident also resulted in the deaths of her 81-year-old mother, Gloria Tapia Garcia, and her 39-year-old son, Fernando Tapia Ramirez Sr. A second son, Juan Tapia Ramirez Jr., was also shot but survived.
