Alejandro Gonzalez Magana, 36, a Hispanic/Latino male, was shot to death late on June 26, 2025, in the Florence-Firestone area near South Los Angeles. Sheriff’s investigators said two suspects approached a vehicle in the 9000 block of Compton Avenue around 11:40 p.m., and during an attempted robbery or carjacking a struggle broke out; one suspect opened fire, striking both occupants.
