Daphne Meyers, age 38, a woman from Warrenton, Georgia, died on July 19, 2025, after a shooting at a home on the 200 block of Phelps Drive in the pre-dawn hours. A 911 call brought deputies to the scene at about 3:30 a.m., and the case was turned over to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, which classified the death as a homicide.
