Death by Force

Karen Knight, age 72, female, White/Caucasian, was found dead inside her home in the Etowah subdivision of Tavares, Florida, on June 10, 2025. Officers conducting a well-being check discovered the bodies of Karen Knight, age 72, and her husband, Randy Rice, age 70, inside the residence on Landing View. Both had suffered gunshot wounds. Police later identified the couple and stated the case was being investigated as a likely murder-suicide. A firearm was recovered in the hand of Randy Rice.
