Before dawn on August 8, 2025, Brittany Shaw, age 35 and female, was shot inside a second-floor apartment at the Axiom Tustin complex on Tustin East Drive. Tustin police said officers were called at about 5:22 a.m., found Brittany Shaw with gunshot wounds, and had her transported to Orange County Global Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
