Jose Aparicio Cordova, a 73-year-old Latino male, was discovered on the afternoon of August 13, 2025, inside a white sedan parked along Sierra Highway in the Newhall area of Santa Clarita. The initial call came in at approximately 1:27 p.m. for an unresponsive person, and responding deputies and paramedics found the 73-year-old in the vehicle about a mile south of Needham Ranch Parkway.
