In the late hours of a Saturday night in Ringgold, Georgia, a party on Indian Springs Road descended into chaos and violence. Catoosa County Sheriff's deputies were initially called to the residence for a noise complaint on September 27, 2025. As they arrived around 11:00 p.m., they were met with a chaotic scene of more than ten people in the yard and the sound of gunshots as suspects fled on foot.
The violence had erupted following an argument and a physical altercation among some of
the partygoers. In the aftermath of the gunfire, two women were found with gunshot wounds. One of the victims was 24-year-old Daysha Lynch, a female resident of Cleveland, Tennessee. She was rushed to a local hospital but tragically succumbed to her injuries on September 28, 2025. The second victim, 18-year-old Emma Lynch, was also hospitalized but was in stable condition and recovering from her injuries.
The investigation into Daysha Lynch's death quickly led to the identification of two suspects who were known to some of the attendees at the party. Eighteen-year-old Eric James Link and 19-year-old Julian Williamson were apprehended in Tennessee. They were taken into custody and are awaiting extradition back to Catoosa County to face charges for the murder of Daysha Lynch. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and authorities have asked anyone with information to contact the Catoosa County Sheriff's Office.
