Marc Sweet, 36, a Black/African American male, was shot on the night of August 21, 2025, at the Shell station at Washington and Passons boulevards in Pico Rivera, California. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s detectives said he was struck by multiple rounds around 8:56 p.m., was transported by paramedics, and was pronounced dead at a hospital.
