On the morning of August 30, 2025, a violent altercation inside a white Honda Pilot traveling through Payson, Arizona, ended the life of 20-year-old Keonna Honanie. A Native American woman from the Hopi Reservation, Keonna was a passenger in the vehicle with four other occupants, including a one-year-old child seated next to her.
