Michael Guerrero, age 18, was shot and killed on June 24, 2009, in Las Vegas. His body was found in a vacant desert lot near the 2600 block of Holly Avenue, close to Vegas Drive and Simmons Street. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, and authorities identified Kevin Alejandro Vargas, a 15-year-old friend of Guerrero, as a suspect in the fatal shooting.
