On June 13, 1994, 37-year-old African American female Debra Cobb was murdered during a robbery at her workplace in Forestville, Maryland. Cobb, who worked as an office manager, was attacked by a man who had access to the same office plaza. The assailant was later identified as Alexander Wayne Watson Jr., a local resident with a history of violent behavior.
