In the early evening of March 10, 2011, a visit to relatives in a northeast Las Vegas neighborhood turned tragic for 24-year-old Sergio Lopez. At approximately 7:15 p.m., in the 5600 block of Lake Mead Boulevard, near Nellis Boulevard, Lopez was suddenly confronted by an armed individual.
