On a summer day in 1982, the life of 24-year-old Debra Smith Taylor, a White female from Griswold, Connecticut, was tragically cut short. On June 15th, she and her husband found themselves in a vulnerable situation when their car ran out of gas near Danielson, Connecticut. In an effort to find help, the couple decided to split up, each walking in opposite directions in search of a gas station. It was during this separation that Debra vanished.
