In the vast, wooded expanse of Bear Brook State Park in Allenstown, New Hampshire, a grim discovery in November 1985 began to unravel a decades-long mystery. A hunter stumbled upon a 55-gallon drum, and inside were the decomposing remains of a woman and a young girl. For years, their identities remained unknown, the case growing cold.
