In the winter of 2003, the life of 34-year-old Jade Velasquez, an Apache woman, was tragically cut short in Phoenix, Arizona. On February 27, 2003, her body was discovered discarded under a palm tree, a grim finding that would unravel a series of horrific crimes. Velasquez was one of five women who had fallen victim to a serial killer over a period of eight months, creating a wave of fear throughout the community.
