Julio Cesar Montes, a 33-year-old man with intellectual disabilities, died on November 23, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada, due to injuries sustained in an altercation. He was a resident at the Desert Regional Center, a care facility for individuals with developmental disabilities. The incident occurred following a Special Olympics bowling event when Montes got into a fight with another resident while being transported back to the center.
