Jeremy Louis Arkansas, 31, male, was found late on the morning of Friday, March 4, 2016, in a downtown Las Vegas alley off 600 South 10th Street, near East Bonneville Avenue and South Maryland Parkway. Patrol officers responding to a nearby encampment discovered him with obvious trauma to his face, and medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene. Detectives described Arkansas as unhoused at the time he was found.
Homicide detectives quickly zeroed in on the hours before his death.
