In the quiet town of Elloree, South Carolina, a social gathering turned tragic on the evening of Friday, March 14, 2025, ending in the death of 19-year-old Darius Aiken. Deputies from the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office were called to a home on Cardinal Road around 8 p.m., where they discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds. Aiken was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second person was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries from bullet shrapnel.
