Latoia Renee Philpott, a 41-year-old woman from Stow, Ohio, tragically lost her life on January 27, 2025. She was fatally shot multiple times in what authorities have confirmed as a murder-suicide. The perpetrator, identified as her partner, Benjamin Asiedu, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound shortly after taking Philpott’s life. The two had been in a relationship for over a year before the incident occurred.
