Billy Fisher, a 67-year-old man from New Caney, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on May 10, 2025, at the 1485 East RV Park. Authorities reported that the incident stemmed from an ongoing dispute between Fisher and his neighbor, 58-year-old Timothy Sisco. Witnesses stated that the argument escalated, leading Sisco to pull out a firearm and shoot Fisher multiple times.
Deputies arrived at the scene to find Fisher with multiple gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead on-site.
Investigators revealed that Fisher had previously contacted law enforcement regarding Sisco on two separate occasions, May 8 and May 9, citing concerns about his neighbor’s behavior. On May 8, Sisco was issued a citation for disorderly conduct, but no charges were filed the following day due to a lack of criminal activity reported at the time. Fisher’s family expressed frustration, believing that his death could have been prevented had authorities taken stronger action against Sisco earlier.
According to witness accounts, Fisher was working on his truck when Sisco allegedly began shooting him. After Fisher collapsed, Sisco reportedly fired additional rounds before retreating to his residence. One witness described Sisco’s reaction as chilling, stating that he smiled before running back to his home. Authorities confirmed that Sisco remained at the scene following the shooting and was detained by deputies without resistance.
Sisco has since been charged with murder and is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on a $500,000 bond. Officials emphasized that the incident appeared to be isolated, involving only the two men, and assured the community that there was no ongoing threat. Fisher’s family continues to mourn his loss, expressing their grief and frustration over the circumstances leading up to his death.
