On January 23, 2025, a devastating tragedy unfolded in Ruffsdale, Pennsylvania, when 5-year-old Evelyn Swarner, a white female, was found dead alongside her mother, 32-year-old Karen Swarner, and 1-year-old brother, Connor Swarner. The bodies were discovered in the family's home on Keck Lane by Karen's father, who had gone to check on them after unsuccessful attempts to reach them.
