Lloyd Schwieterman, a 75-year-old man from Celina, Ohio, was found dead on April 20, 2025, at his residence on Depweg Road. Authorities from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at 7:44 a.m. and discovered that Schwieterman had suffered a gunshot wound. While initial observations suggested the possibility of a self-inflicted wound, investigators remained uncertain and proceeded to secure the scene for further examination.
