On February 27, 2025, 83-year-old Marina Dy, an Asian female resident of Beaverton, Oregon, was found deceased in her home on Southwest Steele Way. Responding to a welfare check around 5:10 p.m., Beaverton police discovered her body inside the residence. Her husband, 76-year-old Joselito Dy, an Asian male, was present at the scene and was taken into custody without incident. He has been charged with murder and unlawful use of a weapon. The cause of death has not been publicly disclosed.
