Linda Faye Lloyd, a 67-year-old White/Caucasian woman from Kennett, Missouri, was killed on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2024, inside her residence on Lynndale Street. At approximately 6:43 p.m., Kennett police were dispatched to 1915 Lynndale after receiving a report concerning a suicidal man who was armed with a gun. When officers entered the residence, they discovered Lloyd dead from a single gunshot wound. The man connected to the emergency call was still at the scene when police arrived.
