In the early hours of December 28, 2024, a life was tragically cut short in Holmes County, Mississippi. Jameion Crockrell, a 33-year-old Black male from Pickens, was at Club Legends on Newport Road when an altercation broke out. The dispute escalated, leading to a fatal shooting at approximately 2:30 a.m. Crockrell sustained multiple gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
