In the early evening of February 2, 2025, a burst of violence shattered the quiet of a District Heights, Maryland neighborhood, leaving 20-year-old Tyler Fludd fatally wounded. Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 5400 block of Silver Hill Road around 5:20 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Fludd outside, suffering from gunshot wounds. First responders rushed him to a local hospital, but his life could not be saved, and he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
