Elijah Le'Chon Novelle Davenport, a 14-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life due to gun violence in Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred late at night on February 28, 2025, in an unincorporated area between Gardena and Compton. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 11:58 p.m. on the 13100 block of Jarvis Avenue, near Main and San Pedro streets in Willowbrook.
