Joe Clark, a 61-year-old man from Woodbine, Georgia, was fatally shot on April 27, 2025, in the Deerwood Village neighborhood. Clark, who was known in his community as "Pastor Joe," was a respected member of the First Baptist Church of Harrietts Bluff. He had recently celebrated his 41st wedding anniversary and was described by his pastor as a "Godly man" who was deeply involved in his church and community. The shooting also left his grandson injured, with a gunshot wound to the arm.
