Annette Plater, a 46-year-old African-American woman, was tragically killed in Omaha, Nebraska on July 6, 2013. Her life was cut short when she was found shot to death inside a vehicle. The car was located near her mother's residence on Franklin Street, adding another layer of sorrow to the unfortunate event.
