Michael Correa, a 42-year-old Latino male, was fatally shot in Van Nuys, California, on April 19, 2025. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a strip mall on Vanowen Street, near Woodley and Gloria Avenues. Correa was standing by his vehicle outside Goldstar Doughnuts when two suspects approached him and fired multiple gunshots before fleeing the scene in a vehicle. The shooting took place just before 12:35 a.m., and emergency responders pronounced Correa dead at the scene.
