In the late summer of 2014, the life of a 30-year-old African-American man, Markquis Walker, was tragically cut short in Omaha, Nebraska. On the evening of Friday, September 5, 2014, Walker was found deceased in the vicinity of 3702 N 24th Street. The circumstances of his death were determined to be a homicide, a result of force.
