Gonzalo Urquieta, a 54-year-old man from Earlimart, California, was found dead on February 7, 2011. His body was discovered in an orange grove just outside of Richgrove, California. Urquieta had been missing since February 5 of that year. His death was the result of multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigations into Urquieta’s murder linked his death to Jose Manuel Martinez, a notorious contract killer associated with Mexican drug cartels. Martinez, also known as "El Mano Negra," was charged ...
