Gustavo Olivares-Rivas, a 28-year-old man, was found dead on November 8, 2006, inside a pickup truck parked along State Road 19 near the Ocala National Forest. His body, along with that of 20-year-old Javier Huerta, was discovered bound with zip ties and riddled with multiple gunshot wounds. The brutal nature of the crime pointed to a targeted execution, and investigators soon uncovered a connection to a stolen cache of cocaine.
