Jean Paul Talbot, a 26-year-old man, was found dead on May 27, 1989, near a stream in Defiance County, Ohio. His death was linked to the unidentified serial killer known as the I-70 Strangler, who was active between 1980 and 1991, targeting young boys and men in the Midwestern United States. The victims of the I-70 Strangler were often found naked or partially clothed near Interstate 70, dumped in rivers, streams, and ditches in rural areas. Each had been strangled to death.
