Robert Latimer, a white male janitor employed by H.H. Holmes at his infamous Chicago "Murder Castle," is listed among Holmes's confessed victims. Holmes claimed that Latimer had knowledge of his insurance fraud schemes and attempted to blackmail him. In response, Holmes stated that he confined Latimer in a soundproof secret room within the Castle, where he was slowly starved to death. Holmes further admitted to selling Latimer's corpse for profit.
