Lisa Michele Smith, a 17-year-old girl, disappeared on March 16, 1971, after hitchhiking in Santa Rosa, California. She had been living in foster care and was reported missing by her foster parents and boyfriend. The last known sighting of Lisa was along Hearn Avenue at approximately 7:00 PM, where she was seen wearing a white blouse with ruffles, a dark pea coat, green bell-bottom jeans, and cowboy boots.
