Karen Hodella, a 44-year-old woman, was murdered on October 10, 2002. Her body was later discovered near the Ohio River in Clarksville, Indiana. The case remained unsolved for nearly a decade until William Clyde Gibson, a convicted serial killer, was arrested for another murder. During his interrogation, Gibson confessed to killing Hodella.
