On what was supposed to be a day of celebration, Heather Greaves, a 27-year-old woman from King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, became the victim of a brutal and premeditated attack. On March 25, 2005, a former co-worker, 33-year-old John Eichinger, arrived at her home under the guise of delivering birthday flowers. Eichinger harbored an unreciprocated romantic obsession with Heather and had planned to kill her if she refused to leave her boyfriend for him.
