Mark Beverly Shields, a 56-year-old Caucasian male and World War II veteran, was tragically murdered on April 28, 1971, in Sutter County, California. Born on July 15, 1914, in Santa Rosa, California, Shields met his untimely death at the hands of Juan Vallejo Corona, a notorious serial killer responsible for the deaths of at least 25 individuals during that period.
