Marcus Grabs, a 17-year-old male of German ethnicity, tragically lost his life on August 5, 1979, in Los Angeles County, California. He was a West German student who had been hitchhiking along the Pacific Coast Highway during a backpacking tour in the United States. His life was brutally cut short when he was abducted by William Bonin, infamously known as the 'Freeway Killer,' and his accomplice Vernon Butts.
