On June 10, 2008, Anthony Mullen, a 44-year-old resident of St. Louis, Missouri, was found shot and killed in an area of the city known for high rates of violent crime. The incident occurred in the early hours, and Mullen's body was discovered on the street, showing multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, but he was pronounced dead before being transported to a hospital.
